The 35mm Single Lens Reflex camera is the most versatile camera made. It is lightweight, fast to use, and provides a very accurate preview of the final image. More lenses can be made for 35mm slrs than any other system. I use Nikons with 14 different lenses ranging in focal length from 14mm to 500mm.
I have recently completed a series of ads for Sigma lenses, and am happy to report the the ones that I have been using are of exceptional quality. The lenses I have are 14mm f/2.8 APO HSM, 20mm f/1.8, 100-300mm f/4 APO HSM, and 500mm f/4.5 APO HSM. These lenses are sharp at all apertures, and the 14 and the 500mm have great contrast. The 100-300 has excellent contrast when used with its hood, but will give the expected lens flare when shooting into the sun. The HSM lenses (Hyper Silent Motor), like their Nikon counterparts the Silent wave AF-S lenses, have autofocus motors built into the lenses for fast and silent autofocus. Overall, I would rate these lenses as highest quality, and as excellent buys considering that they are only 2/3 the price of the Nikon counterparts.
